Pacific Air was an American indie pop band formed in 2012, consisting of brothers Ryan and Taylor Lawhon. Initially known as "KO KO," they released three songs on Bandcamp before securing a record deal with Republic Records. Due to naming conflicts, the group changed its name to Pacific Air and released their debut EP Long Live KOKO in October 2012. The EP received critical acclaim, particularly for the lead single "Float", which gained popularity through Hype Machine and various remixes. Following the EP's release, Pacific Air embarked on several tours supporting bands such as Passion Pit and Walk the Moon. In 2013, they released their debut studio album Stop Talking. The band effectively disbanded in September 2014 when Ryan Lawhon announced his new solo project, Mating Ritual.
