ROTTENGRAFFTY is a Japanese rock band formed in May 1999 in Kyoto, Japan. They debuted in February 2001 with the mini-album “RADICAL PEACE×RADICAL GENOCIDE” and released their third mini-album “Synchronicitizm” in 2003. After Synchronicitizm, they made their major debut in November with the single “悪巧み〜Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence”. 2004 saw the release of their first major album CL∀SSICK, followed the next year by their second album Eksapiko. After switching to indies, they released their 4th album This World in 2010, followed by FAMILIARIZE in 2011, and Walk in 2013. The album PLAY in 2018 reached #9 on Oricon. 2019’s single “Hallelujah” also reached #9, becoming the band's highest charting single. In 2019, the band released the tribute album ROTTENGRAFFTY Tribute Album ~MOUSE TRAP~, followed by the best album You are ROTTENGRAFFTY in 2020. The 7th studio album HELLO was released in 2022. After MASAHIKO officially joined the band and the 25th anniversary of its formation, the 8th album Wabi Sabi was released in March 2025.
