Olaf Malolepski (born March 27, 1946, in Magdeburg) is a German pop singer. The artist spent most of his musical career, beginning in the late 1960s, as a member of the pop band Die Flippers. After the band broke up, Olaf Malolepski continued his career as a solo singer. In 2011, the schlager star released his debut album, *Tausend rote Rosen *. The album reached No. 16 on the German charts and went gold. After two more albums, Olaf Malolepski made his first foray into the Top 10 of the German charts with his fourth studio album, Daumen hoch, which peaked at No. 4 in 2017. The next two albums, Tausendmal ja (2018) and Fiesta (2020), even climbed as high as No. 2 on the German album charts. Following the album Liebe ist (2021, No. 3 in Germany), his eighth studio album, Dankeschön, was released in 2023 and once again achieved a top ranking in the German charts, peaking at No. 4. To mark his 80th birthday, the album Weltklasse is released in 2026. With it, the singer reaches No. 29 on the German charts.
