Off the Menu is a South Korean indie band formed by three college alumni: Ahn Jeong-jun (vocals, keyboard, synth), Lee Hyeong-seop (bass), and Lee Seung-min (synth). The group officially debuted on February 19, 2019, with their single "off the menu". The band’s name reflects their identity — like a chef’s special not listed on a restaurant’s menu, their music defies categorization and embraces creative freedom. Driven by Ahn Jeong-jun’s dream of starting a band — a goal that even led him to enroll in college — Off the Menu was born from friendship and a shared passion for experimental sound. The trio blends a wide range of genres, from electronica, synth pop, and indie pop to British rock, ambient, R&B, and soul, crafting a unique sonic identity that evolves with each release. Their discography includes the reflective Contact EP (2020), the atmospheric single "The Void" (2023), the full-length album Every Point of View (2023), and most recently, "Love is a Shade of Blue" (2025). Off the Menu continues to explore the boundaries of genre, offering listeners a fresh auditory experience with every track — music that, like a secret dish from the chef, is always surprising and deeply personal.
