Gwak

Gwak Tae-poong (real name Kwak Hyun-jin, born May 14, 2002) is a South Korean singer-songwriter known for his delicate and emotional approach to music. He debuted in 2021 with the single "Boy to Girl" (소년이 소녀에게), a gentle song that expressed a boy's tender feelings of love. Influenced by bedroom pop, Gwak continued to explore youthful emotions through his music, releasing singles like "SUNFLOWER!"(2021) and "Marijuana,"(2021) where he compared love and clumsy emotions to the life of a plant. His introspective storytelling and soft sound have resonated with listeners, building a growing presence in the Korean indie scene. Over the years, Gwak has expanded his discography with the full-length album I’m a rockstar! (2022), the EP YAHO! (2023), park. (2024), and the single "stroll." (2024), steadily showcasing his personal experiences and heartfelt narratives.
