Nuttin' Nyce

Nuttin' Nyce was an American contemporary R&B group from Sacramento, California. The trio originally consisted of LaTeece "Teece" Wallace, Onnie Ponder, and Liz Burnett. Wallace had previously been a member of the dance trio Get Busy Girls. They were signed to Pocketown Records in 1992 after being discovered by A&R man Rodney Ellis at a club in Los Angeles. Their debut single "In My Nature" was released in August 1993, which reached Number 83 on the Billboard Hot 100. The group collaborated with Hi-Five on "What Can I Say to You (To Justify My Love)" in 1994. "Nasty Girl" was released in July 1995, comprising a version of the Prince hit written for Vanity 6. The group's second and final single "Froggy Style" peaked at Number 63 on the Hot 100 and Number 25 on the US R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. Nuttin' Nyce disbanded in 1996 due to individual solo pursuits. Their music was featured in the soundtracks of several films, including High School High, A Low Down Dirty Shame, and Sister Act 2: Back in the Habit.
