Normani

Normani Kordei Hamilton, born on May 31, 1996, in Atlanta, Georgia, and raised in Houston, Texas, is a American singer who burst onto the scene as a member of the girl group Fifth Harmony. Formed during their participation on The X Factor in 2012, Fifth Harmony quickly rocketed to global fame, securing a place among the best-selling girl groups of all time. After Fifth Harmony went on hiatus in 2018, Normani launched her solo career with the smash hit duet "Love Lies," with Khalid, which soared into the top ten of the Billboard Hot 100, earning a quintuple platinum certification. She continued to make waves with the Calvin Harris collaboration EP Normani x Calvin Harris and the single "Waves" featuring 6LACK, which snagged the MTV Video Music Award for Best R&B Video. In 2019, Normani collaborated with Sam Smith on "Dancing with a Stranger," which dominated charts in 22 countries and earned a Brit Awards nomination for Song of the Year. She followed this success with her first solo single, "Motivation," which continued to chart in the top 30 across Europe, the UK, and Australia. Normani also featured in Cardi B's viral "WAP" music video, teaming up with her again for the 2021 hit "Wild Side," which climbed to number 14 on the charts. Normani's highly anticipated debut studio album, Dopamine, was released on June 14, 2024 features the standout singles "1:59" with Gunna and "Candy Paint" which climbed to number 13 on the Top 25 R&B Songs charts in the U.S.
