Takahiro Nishijima, known by his stage name Nissy, is a Japanese singer and actor, born on September 30, 1986. He first rose to fame as a member of the mixed-gender pop group AAA, which debuted in 2005 with the single "BLOOD on FIRE". The group quickly garnered acclaim, receiving the New Artist of the Year award at the Japan Record Awards the same year. Nishijima embarked on a successful solo career under the name Nissy, releasing his first solo album HOCUS POCUS in 2016, which topped the iTunes charts in Japan. He has achieved significant milestones, including being the youngest male solo artist in Japanese history to hold a dome tour, which he did in 2019. His notable acting credits include starring roles in television dramas and films, adding to his multifaceted career. In recent years, Nishijima has continued to expand his artistic scope, performing in sold-out dome tours across Japan and reaching new heights in popularity.
