Naar

Naar is an artistic collective founded in 2018 by artistic director Mohamed Sqalli and photographer Ilyes Griyeb. The collective made its mark with the album Safar, which depicts an authentic Morocco through unique sounds and visuals. In addition to this album, Naar has also released a compilation featuring several talented artists from the Moroccan rap scene, uniting styles and voices in a quest for authenticity and modernity. Their artistic work is distinguished by a desire to overcome the clichés conveyed by the West, while celebrating the cultural richness of the Arab world.
