Möwe, an Austrian DJ duo consisting of Melanie Ebietoma and Clemens Martinuzzi, was formed in Vienna on January 10, 2013. The duo began producing their own music after Ebietoma's indie-rock band disbanded, blending indie and dream-pop elements into what they termed "Dreamdie." In 2014, Möwe signed with the label Stil vor Talent. They released their debut EP, The Sun, in 2013, followed by the mini-CD Chasing Clouds in 2015. Their first album, Back in the Summer, was released in 2016. Notable singles include "Skyline", which reached number 66 in the Austrian music charts in 2017. Möwe won the Amadeus Award in the Electronic/Dance category at the 2018 ceremony in Vienna.
