Mecna

Corrado Grilli, known professionally as Mecna, was born on March 26, 1987, in San Giovanni Rotondo, Puglia, Italy. He began his career in the early 2000s with the group Microphones Killarz, releasing No Problem (2005) and No Sense (2007). Mecna's solo debut came with Propaganda (2006), a collaboration with ElDoMino. He joined the Blue Nox collective in 2009 and released his first official album, Disco Inverno, in 2012, followed by extensive tours. Subsequent albums include Laska (2015) and Blue Karaoke (2018). In 2019, he released Neverland, a collaboration with Sick Luke which debuted at the fifth position on the iTunes chart. Notable singles include "Pratica" and "Tu Ed Io", featuring CoCo. Mecna has collaborated with artists such as Ghemon and Izi. Mecna followed up with Mentre nessuno guarda in 2020. His next album Bromance (2021), released in collaboration with CoCo, was certified gold by FIMI. Following the release of Stupido amore in 2023, he recorded Discordia, armonia e altri stati d'animo, released in October 2025.
