Max Carra

Max Carra is an Argentine singer from Carlos Spegazzini (Zona Sur, Greater Buenos Aires) who grew up around music, starting on drums and then moving into singing and home production with a family-run team led by his brother Tomi. He began posting self-produced covers online, using the spoken tag line “Viajemos en el tiempo” as a recurring intro that became his calling card and pushed him toward a modern cumbia style shaped by influences like Márama, Rombai, and La Champions Liga. His first widely circulated releases arrived in 2024 with singles such as “Martes 13,” “UWAIE (versión cumbia),” “El Trend,” and “Mil Males,” establishing him as a young voice in Argentina’s tropical-pop crossover lane. In 2025, he broadened his reach through high-profile collaborations: he joined Roze Oficial, Valen, and producer RAMKY on the cumbia rework “Tu jardín con enanitos,” then leaned deeper into nostalgic reinterpretations with the “VIAJEMOS EN EL TIEMPO” series, including “VIAJEMOS EN EL TIEMPO #1: Quién Te Quiere Como Yo” with Lira and later a cuarteto-facing version alongside Q’ Lokura’s Chino Herrera. The same year, he added more cross-artist cuts like “Te Encontré” with Ian Lucas and kept his solo run moving with singles such as “Indirectas,” “Chica Real,” and “Ya No Llora (Remix).” In early 2026, he extended the streak with “Fuego,” continuing the mix of contemporary cumbia and throwback hooks that became his trademark.
