Masahiro Tokuda is a Japanese composer, arranger, and guitarist born on October 2, 1984 in Kagoshima, Japan. He majored in composition at university, composing music for commercials and playing in a band from the time he was a student. After graduating from college, he moved to Tokyo to study under composer Yugo Kanno, and in 2013, he composed his first TV music for the NHK special "The Legend of the World's Strongest: Las Vegas - The Battle of the Century", and since then, he has worked on a number of works, mainly for dramatic and theme music. In 2017, he composed music for the film version of "LAST COP," for which he also composed music for the TV drama, and in 2020 he composed music for "Yakusoku no Neverland," as well as music for the film version of "20/20" and "The Promise of Neverland. In 2024, he received the Best Music Award at the 48th Japan Academy Prize for the film "The Last Mile".
