Masahiro Ōchi

Masahiro Ohchi, born on January 20, 1991, is a Japanese singer-songwriter known for his emotionally driven pop ballads and heartfelt lyrics. He began gaining recognition after receiving the Special Jury Prize at the 2008 *Street Fighter H-Generation Festival*. While still in high school, he performed street concerts near Nagoya Station, showcasing his early passion for live music. In April 2010, Ohchi made his digital debut with the single "Sakura", produced by renowned producer Takeshi Kobayashi. The track was used as the theme song for the drama Hatsukoi Chronicle, helping to introduce him to a wider audience. Later that year, on September 8, he released his first physical single "Te”, further solidifying his status as a rising talent in the J-pop scene. In addition to "Te", Ohchi's music gained further exposure through TV tie-ins. His song "Niji no Mieru Sekai de" (2011) served as the ending theme for BS Asahi's Eko no Sahō, and "19-sai Saigo no Uta"(2012) was featured on Ima Sekai wa.
