Maneki Kecak

Maneki Kecak is a Japanese idol group formed in 2015 following a singing competition, originally comprising five members: Miyuu Nakagawa, Rin Miyauchi, Reona Matsushita, Mayuka Fujisaki, and Chiai Fujikawa. The group signed with Force Music in 2016 and released the singles "Kimi Wazurai" and "Mōsō Sakura" before moving to Virgin Records, where they issued the single "Dō demo ī ya" and won the Idol Music Grand Prix in the Local Idol Group/Indie category that same year. Their debut album Kimi Wazurai was released on 18 April 2018 under Nippon Columbia, followed by the single "Kagami no Naku kara" that later served as the ending theme for the anime GeGeGe no Kitarō. In 2019 the group released the album Aru Wake Nai No and continued touring Japan, performing at venues such as Nippon Budōkan. After lineup changes in 2017 and 2018, new members Mio Fukase and Aoi Shinohara joined, sustaining the group’s activity. The discography expanded with the 2022 album Awesome! and singles "Aruwake Naino Sono Okuni" (2019) and "Mawaru Sekaini" (2021). Maneki Kecak’s releases have charted on Oricon, and their work has been featured in anime soundtracks, marking their influence within the J‑pop idol scene.
