Maneige, a progressive rock and jazz fusion band from Quebec, Canada, was formed in 1972 by Alain Bergeron, Jérôme Langlois, Gilles Schetagne, Yves Léonard, Paul Picard, and Vincent Langlois. Their debut album, Maneige, was released in 1975, followed by Les Porches. After Jérôme Langlois left due to musical differences, Vincent Langlois took over as the sole keyboardist. The group's subsequent albums included Ni vent... ni nouvelle (1977) and Libre Service â Self-Service (1978). They toured extensively in Canada, including performances at the Winnipeg Heritage Festival in 1978. Notable live releases include Composite (1979) and Live Montréal 1974/1975 (1998). The band disbanded in 1983, but their music continued to be recognized. Maneige reformed in 2022 and performed at the Festival international de jazz de Montréal in July 2023.
