Mallory Knox

Mallory Knox, a British alternative rock band formed in Cambridge in 2009, comprised lead guitarist Joe Savins, drummer Dave Rawling, vocalist Mikey Chapman, bassist Sam Douglas, and rhythm guitarist James Gillett. The group released the free EP Pilot on 4 July 2011, followed by the single "What She Gonna Do?" on 17 September 2011, establishing an early presence in the UK indie scene. Their debut album Signals launched on 21 January 2013, reaching number 33 on the UK Albums Chart, and was supported by a UK headline tour and appearances at Download and Slam Dunk festivals. In 2014, the band issued Asymmetry, which peaked at number 16 on the UK chart, and continued touring with acts such as A Day to Remember and Biffy Clyro. The 2017 release Wired was issued through RCA Records and preceded by singles "Giving It Up" and "Better Off Without You", with the group performing at Reading and Leeds. After vocalist Mikey Chapman departed in February 2018, bassist Sam Douglas assumed lead vocals, and the band recorded the self‑titled album Mallory Knox released 16 August 2019, followed by a farewell tour that concluded the group’s activity. In December 2023, Slam Dunk announced a reunion for 2024 festivals, reuniting all original members.
