Malevolent Creation

Malevolent Creation, an American death metal band, was formed in Buffalo, New York in 1987 by Phil Fasciana and Jim Nickles on guitars, Bret Hoffmann on vocals, Jason Blachowicz on bass, and Dennis Kubas on drums. The band moved to Fort Lauderdale, Florida shortly after forming and released their debut demo tape, which led to a deal with Roadrunner Records. Their first album, The Ten Commandments, was released in 1991 and became a landmark in the death metal underground. Malevolent Creation's lineup shifted frequently over the years, with notable members including Rob Barrett, Alex Marquez, and Dave Culross. The band toured extensively with acts such as Cannibal Corpse and Obituary, releasing albums like Retribution (1992), Stillborn (1993). In 2004, they released Warkult, followed by Invidious Dominion in 2010 under Nuclear Blast. The band continued to release albums, including Dead Man's Path in 2015 and The 13th Beast in 2019.
