Madame Mayhem

Madame Mayhem is the hard-rock side project of American singer/songwriter Natalie Ann Cohen. She was born January 24, 1989, in Tenefly, New Jersey, and attended music school in New York as a teenager before earning degrees in classical opera performance and musical theatre as a college student in Miami, Florida. Working with producer and co-writer Mark Hudson, she recorded her debut album White Noise and released it in 2012, followed by Now You Know in October 2015 and Ready For Me in October 2017. Madame Mayhem's mix of operatic vocals and overdriven guitars earned comparisons to Evanescence and Pat Benatar, with the project soon becoming of the the leading female-fronted acts in a male-dominated genre. Singles like 2018's "My Valentine," 2019's "Broken," and a 2020 cover of the Aerosmith song "Living' on the Edge" continued building Madame Mayhem's audience, but it was 2022's "I Am More" that marked the band's commercial breakthrough, with the song charting at Number 40 on Billboard's Mainstream Rock chart in America.
