Lpee is a rapper from north-east Paris, and a member of the Les Tontons Flingueurs collective, which brings together several artists from Paris and its inner suburbs. He develops an introspective style of writing, through a rap rooted in reality and carried by a variety of sounds. He made his solo debut in 2018 with the Monochrome project, followed by the EPs 3ème Round and Amin in 2019. In 2020, he released Triptyque, followed by the album Monochrome, Vol. 2 in 2021, reissued as Vol. 2.1. In 2023, he releases the EP +33, where he deepens his personal universe. The same year, he takes part in the Netflix show Nouvelle École. The track "East London" marked a turning point in his career, attracting a large audience. He followed this up with the Intermède and Merci pour les roses EPs, on which he explores electronic influences, notably drum and bass instrumentals, while retaining his sensitive, structured style.
