Born on January 21, 1993 in Les Lilas, Seine-Saint-Denis, Georgio, whose real name is Georges Nicolo, made his debut in 2007. Four years later, he released his first mixtape, Une Nuit Blanche Pour des Idées Noires. He was only eighteen at the time. His debut album, Soleil d'Hiver , conceived with producer Hologram Lo', was released in 2013. Georgio then took part in a Fauve track before releasing the single "Blackjack" the same year. For his mixtape Nouveau Souffle, the young rapper called on his audience to choose the instrumentals. His second album, Bleu Noir, was crowdfunded and released in October 2015. That same year, Georgio was the winner of the Prix du public Deezer-Adami. His next album, Hera, created the event of 2016 on the French rap scene. It features the tracks "L'Espoir meurt en dernier" and "Héra". It was followed in 2018 by XX5, which reached number 26 on the French sales charts. Three years later came the fourth opus, Sacré, featuring contributions from S.Pri Noir and Kalash Criminel. In 2023, the rapper released a new melancholy album, Années Sauvages, recorded between Paris, Lille and Los Angeles, with contributions from PLK, Josman and Yoa.
