Low-Red

Mario Serra, aka Low-Red, is an Italian rapper born in Sassari, Sardinia, on December 3, 1998. At the age of 9, he was introduced to hip-hop culture through break dancing, and at just 14, he released his first song in collaboration with his friend Cage.488, on an ilovethisbeat production. At 18, he moved to London with ilovethisbeat, Razer.Rah and Cage.488, where he lived and worked for three years. Memories of the experience are collected in a mixtape released by ilovethisbeat in 2020: Londra (2017-2020). In early 2019, Low-Red embarks on the Mario mixtape route, and ilovethisbeat is joined by Pherro on production. Back from London, accompanied by Luchetto, Rico PMF, Razer.Rah, Cage.488 and Prisoner, he befriends Cagliari artists Sgribaz, Praci and Enomoney; the Nuova Sardegna collective is born from the union of rappers and producers from the north and south of the island. In April 2021, he releases his second mixtape Mario II, which, thanks to the hit "Sensibile" and the attention of specialist magazines such as Noisey and TRX Radio, begins to put the Low-Red name on the map in the rest of Italy too. In July 2021 he releases Coast 2 Coast EP, while in February 2022 he returns with "Gloria", whose video is made with the consent of Dinamo Sassari at PalaSerradimigni, the sports hall where the Sardinian basketball team plays LBA matches. " Genesi" marked the start of a new phase in his career, followed shortly afterwards by Trend and the album Sul Radar (2022). Back in 2024, the Sardinian rapper signed The Biggest Sblao album, featuring contributions from Papa V, Yung Snapp, Kiid and Nerissima Serpe. A reissue expanded by seven tracks, The Biggest Sblao Eva Eva Eva, appeared in 2025.
