Los Nuevos Rebeldes

Formed in Culiacán, Sinaloa in 1999 by drummer and bandleader Eduardo Nájera, Los Nuevos Rebeldes coalesced around vocalist and bajo sexto player Jesús Manuel Osorio Medina, bassist and vocalist Isaac Nevárez, accordionist Javier Inzunza, and guitarist and vocalist Adán Rodríguez, establishing a norteño-corrido sound built on accordion and bajo sexto interplay. Early recordings produced regional traction, including the staple “La Trampa de la Fiera,” before their first widely distributed set Más Rebeldes Que Nunca arrived in 2008. They expanded their corrido catalog through the 2010s with albums such as Juan Ignacio—home to “Tipo Tren”—and Soldado Imperial, which cemented signature numbers like “Soldado Imperial” and “Los Hijos del Chapo.” A steady live presence fed compilation and concert releases in 2017–2020, including En Vivo Desde Culiacán and Las Mejores Clásicas Con Los Nuevos Rebeldes, followed by the full-length Cambio y Fuera in 2021 and a concert document, En Vivo Desde el Palenque Culiacán 2022, capturing their current lineup onstage. Collaborative appearances widened their footprint—among them “El Mayito Gordo” with Grupo H100, “Pa Todos Soy Zambada” with Grupo Rebeldía, “Una Corporación Rebelde” with Grupo Corporación, and “Pecado Mortal” with Bandera Negra—while 2024 brought the studio album Seguiré en Mis Travesuras. Building on renewed momentum, they rolled out a 2025 run of singles—“De Tu Vida Ya Me Voy,” “Tu Naciste Para Mi,” “Mi Amiga Mi Amor,” “El Cajoncito,” “Y Como Le Hago,” “Contigo,” and the late-year highlight “La Iguana”—showcasing a mix of romantic norteño and corridos alongside punchy live cuts.
