Lojay

Born 28 April 1996 in Ogun State, Lojay (real name Lekan Osifeso Jr.) is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and producer whose genre-blending sound has made him one of the most exciting voices in Afrobeats today. Emerging from Lagos, he broke into the mainstream with a distinctive style that fuses Afrobeats, R&B, and global contemporary sounds, characterised by emotive vocals, moody textures, and irresistible rhythms. His breakthrough came with the 2021 collaborative EP LV N ATTN alongside super-producer Sarz, which featured the chart-dominating single "Monalisa." The track not only became a continental hit but also gained international traction, later receiving a remix featuring American superstar Chris Brown. The success of LV N ATTN solidified Lojay’s position as a genre-pushing artist with global appeal. Known for his introspective lyricism and sonic experimentation, Lojay continues to evolve while staying rooted in the rich musical traditions of Nigeria. His follow-up singles like "Leader!" "Moto," and "Canada" showcase his versatility and commitment to expanding the boundaries of African pop music while he consolidated his sound in 2023 with the arrival of his debut album, GANGSTER ROMANTIC. He has released several singles since then, including "Somebody Like You" and "Mwah!" in 2025.
