Juan Daniel Jiménez González, known professionally as Leo Jiménez, was born on August 17, 1979, in Fuenlabrada, Spain. He started his musical career as a singer and guitarist with bands like Krysalida and Al Borde before joining Saratoga in 1999. With Saratoga, he contributed to albums such as Vientos de guerra and Agotarás, becoming a notable figure in the Spanish heavy metal scene. In late 2006, Jiménez left Saratoga to focus on Stravaganzza and formed LEO:037, releasing albums like Títere con cabeza. In 2013, he transitioned to a solo career under his own name, signing with Warner Music and releasing Animal Solitario. Subsequent albums include 20 Años Tras el Apocalipsis (2015) and La Factoría del Contraste (2016).
