Active between 1993 and 1996, Legacy of Sound is a Swedish band known for the hit "Happy" and featuring singer Meja (Meja Kullersten) and composer/producer Anders Bagge. Signed to the Ariola label, the group quickly made a name for itself in the dance-pop style with the album Holy Groove (1993), featuring the lead hit "Happy" (#47 in Sweden, #68 on the Billboard Hot 100 and charting in the U.S. dance charts) and the lead singles "Feel So Good", "I Can't Let You Go" and "When Is It Love". In 1994, the Ricochet album Tour de Force spawned the singles "Livin' & Learnin'", "Woman in Me", "I Wanna Give You My Loving" and "Wait". After the split, Meja, like Bagge, began his own career as a songwriter and producer.
