Quebec City-born singer-songwriter Lauma discovered her passion for writing at the Chemins d'écriture de Tadoussac in 2016. That same year, she won the Prix Hydro-Québec de la chanson à chanter and distinguished herself at the Chante en français competition. A graduate of the École nationale de la chanson, she took part in Radio-Canada's Prise de son in 2017. In 2018, she signs a record deal, initiating a new phase. In 2019, her single"Cœur de Miel" brought her recognition, followed in 2020 by the EP"Pixels", produced by Claude Bégin. After a break to raise her two children, Lauma returns in 2024 with new tracks, in collaboration with Félix Pomerleau and Gabriel Arseneau (Tabac Carton). Her style evolves towards pop-folk tinged with jazz and vintage French chanson, as evidenced by the track"C'est ça c'est ça", imbued with gentleness, poetry and melancholy.
