Lasgo

Lasgo, a Belgian electronic music group, were founded in 2000 and consisted of Peter Luts, Dave McCullen, and singer Evi Goffin. Lasgo first gained attention with their debut single "Something" released in 2001, which became a hit across Europe that summer, peaking at number five in Belgium and number four in the UK. Their debut album Some Things was released later that year, featuring the successful follow-up single "Alone". In 2002, Lasgo won the Best National Single Award for "Something" at the Belgian TMF Awards and were nominated for several international dance awards. Throughout their career, they achieved significant chart success with albums such as Far Away (2005), which included notable singles like "All Night Long" and "Who's That Girl". The group received the European Border Breakers Award in 2004, recognising their international appeal. In 2008, Evi Goffin left, leading Peter Luts to organise a televised search for a new vocalist, ultimately choosing Jelle Van Dael. With Jelle Van Dael, Lasgo released the album Smile in 2009 and continued with singles like "Here With Me" (2011). Although Lasgo has not officially disbanded, they have not released any material since 2013.
