Lars Fredrik Frøislie

A Norwegian musician born in Hønefoss on July 28, 1981, Lars Fredrik Frøislie has collaborated, and continues to collaborate, with a multitude of bands. A central figure in Scandinavian progressive neo-rock, he founded the bands Wobbler and In Lingua Mortua in 1999, followed by White Willow in 2004 and Tusmørke in 2011. Keyboardist as well as drummer, his taste for retro progressive rock leads him to play synthesizers and other analog devices such as the Mellotron M400, Chamberlin M-1, Mini-Moog Model D, Hammond C3 organ, Rhodes MkII electric piano and Clavinet D6. He collaborates with many other artists, composes film and documentary scores with Vestrum Einarsen of Jagga Jazzist/Motorpsycho, and records the solo albums Fire fortellinger(Karisma, 2023) and Gamle Mester (2025).
