LAPILLUS

Lapillus is a South Korean girl group formed by talent agency MLD Entertainment consisting of six members: Chanty, Shana, Yue, Bessie, Seowon, and Haeun. They officially debuted on June 20, 2022, with the release of their digital single album, Hit Ya!, which included the title track of the same name. Prior to their debut, members Shana and Chanty were known for various pre-debut activities. Shana was a contestant on Girls Planet 999, and Chanty was a former actress in the Philippines. Together, they hosted the video-streaming series ChanSha World to introduce themselves to fans. Lapillus released their first EP, Girl's Round Part.1, in 2022, featuring double lead singles "Gratata" and "Burn with Love." The EP reached peak chart positions in South Korea and marked a milestone in their growing career. Following this, they released their second EP, Girl's Round Part.2, in 2023. They also made their Japanese debut with their single "Who's Next (Japanese Version)" in August 2023, reaching Number 31 on the Oricon charts. Lapillus has been nominated for and received several awards. They were nominated for the Female Idol Popularity Award at the Asia Artist Awards in 2022 and won the Focus Award – Music. In 2023, they were nominated in the category of Favorite K-Pop Group at the Nickelodeon Mexico Kids' Choice Awards and won the New Wave Star Award at the Seoul Music Awards.
