Since Taylor Swift's success in 2006, the door has been wide open for country pop in the U.S. and around the world. Lady Antebellum received widespread acclaim with Lady Antebellum in 2008, charting at #1 in country and #4 on Billboard. Beating the heat, Lady Antebellum returns in 2010 with Need You Now and its eponymous hit. Need You Now is, of course, No. 1 on the Billboard charts, and has had a remarkable career in the UK. Even French radio stations began to play Need You Now on a massive scale , with the song even entering the national bestseller lists.Own the Night in 2011 confirms Lady Antebellum as a new pop rock heavyweight. Golden, with its best-of title, was released in the USA in May 2013. Just over a year after this new success, Lady Antebellum resumes her flight with 747 . It was produced by Busbee, who returned to the band's side in 2017 for the album Heart Break , recorded between Los Angeles and Miami. Two years later, the production of its successor, Ocean, is entrusted this time to Dan Huff. The album includes a collaboration with the band Little Big Town, on the song "The Thing That Wrecks You". In 2020, the band shortened its name to Lady A, and the following year signed the album What a Song Can Do, followed four years later by a second volume of Christmas songs, On This Winter's Night (Volume 2).
