La Máquina de Hacer Pájaros was an Argentine progressive rock supergroup active from 1976 to 1977. Formed by Charly GarcÃa, Oscar Moro, Carlos Cutaia, Gustavo Bazterrica, and José Luis Fernández, the band emerged after the dissolution of Sui Generis. GarcÃa, who had been exploring progressive rock influences, assembled a lineup that included two keyboardists simultaneously on stage. The group's debut album, La Maquina De Hacer Pajaros, was released in 1976. Notable tracks include "Como Mata el Viento Norte" and "Bubulina", a tribute to GarcÃaâs partner MarÃa Rosa Yorio. Their second album, Peliculas, was released in 1977 before the group disbanded later that year.
