KTL was an American-Austrian musical duo, consisting of Stephen O'Malley and Peter Rehberg, who began collaborating in 2006. The project began following a commission to create music for the theater production Kindertotenlieder by Gisèle Vienne and Dennis Cooper, which premiered in Brest, France, in March 2007. Their debut album, KTL, was released in 2006. The duo went on to release several albums in 2007, including Eine Eiserne Faust In Einem Samthandschuh, 2, and Live In Krems April 07. Notable releases also include IKKI (2008) and IV Paris Demos (2008). In 2020, they released the album VII under Editions Mego.
