Krypteria, a German rock band from Aachen, was formed in 2003 as a musical project by producer and guitarist Christoph Siemons, author Wolfgang A. Link, and drummer and singer Michael "S.C." Kuschnerus. The initial project involved multiple singers and actors, culminating in the release of the musical double album Krypteria in October 2003. The band's breakthrough moment came with the single "Liberatio", which was performed by Sylvia González Bolívar and released as a benefit single following the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami. It reached Number three in the German Single Charts. In 2005, Krypteria transitioned into a metal band with Ji-In Cho as the lead singer, releasing their first album In Medias Res in July 2005. The album included the notable song "Victoriam Speramus" and reached Number one on the Korean charts. The band's subsequent albums include Bloodangel's Cry (April 2007) and My Fatal Kiss (August 2009). Krypteria also contributed to various tours and collaborations, including performances with Deep Purple during their Rapture of the Deep World Tour in 2006. In 2011, they released the album All Beauty Must Die, featuring the single "You Killed Me" and a collaborative anthem for Borussia Dortmund's championship. The band announced a hiatus in August 2012 due to singer Ji-In Cho's pregnancy. During this period, several members contributed to the soundtrack of the thriller Bad Trip under the name And Then She Came, releasing their self-titled album in June 2016.
