Kristy Cox

Kristy Cox, born July 1, 1985, in Adelaide, South Australia, is an Australian country singer-songwriter and guitarist. She released her first EP, Twisted Heart, at age 11 in 2001, followed by My Affections in 2003. Cox graduated from the CMAA Australian College of Country Music in 2004. Her debut studio album, From My Eyes, was released in 2006. In 2010, she released her second studio album, Breaking New Ground. Cox relocated to the United States in 2013 and has since released several albums, including Living for the Moment (2014), Part of Me (2016), and Ricochet (2017). Her sixth studio album, Ricochet, debuted at Number 1 on the Billboard Bluegrass album chart. Cox won five Golden Guitars at the Country Music Awards of Australia and was named Australian Country Music Independent Artist of the Year in 2014. She followed with albums No Headlights (2020), Shades of Blue (2022), and Let It Burn (2024).
