Koriass

Born Emmanuel Dubois on March 12, 1984 in Montreal (Canada), Koriass is a Quebec rapper. He released his first EP, Mort de Rire , in 2006. In November 2008, he released his first album, Les Racines Dans le Béton, and scored his first radio hit with the song " Pump It Up ". His second album, Petites Victoires, was released in October 2011. In 2013, he wins a $25,000 prize awarded by the Francofolies de Montréal. In November of the same year, he released Rue des Saules . In 2014, it won the Félix for Hip-Hop Album of the Year at the ADISQ gala. In 2016, Koriass released the opus Love Suprême , with which he scored his first top 10 hit on Quebec radio with the track " Blacklights ". He then embarked on a tour of Quebec and France. The following year, he composed the original music for the Jenny series broadcast on Unis TV in Quebec. In September 2018, he presents the album La Nuit des Longs Couteaux, and climbs to the top of the Quebec charts with the track " Cinq À Sept ". In collaboration with Fouki in 2020, he releases the opus Génies En Herbe. The following year, he appeared on the jury of the Quebec rap TV show La Fin des Faibles . In April 2022, he released his sixth album, Abri de Fortune (Pour Fin du Monde ), and scored a hit with the song " Matusalem ", a duet with Jay Scott.
