Klubbb3 was formed in 2015 by German Schlager singer Florian Silbereisen, Dutch singer Jan Smit, and Belgian singer Christoff De Bolle, each already established in their national markets. The trio announced the band in the autumn of 2015, opting for a purely Schlager sound without contemporary influences. Their debut single "Du Schaffst Das Schon" entered the German singles chart at position 66 on 12 February 2016, followed by the album Vorsicht Unzensiert! on 8 January 2016, which peaked at Number 4 in Germany, Number 33 in the Netherlands, and Number 6 in Flanders. In 2017 the group released Jetzt geht's richtig los! and the single "Märchenprinzen" featuring Gloria von Thurn und Taxis. The 2018 album Wir Werden Immer Mehr! reached Number 6 in Germany and was later awarded the smago! Award for “Erfolgreichste Schlagerband Europas.” The band earned multiple Band des Jahres honors in 2017 and 2019 and received a Golden Ticket for Das große Schlagerfest – Die Party des Jahres in 2017.
