Klaus Harmony (January 21, 1941 â January 21, 1984) is a fictional funk, disco, and europop composer from Baden-Baden, Germany, created by Matthew Strachan. Harmony performed as an accordionist in Berlin with mother Lotte Schmitt before relocating to London in 1959. Harmony joined impresario Peter Wilde and led the progressive rock band Kinky Roosevelt, which performed in the United States. Harmony collaborated with filmmaker Friedrich Wohlfäht on eleven films, including Die Grosse Brustwarze Karnival (1971) and The Ladies Man (1977). Recordings attributed to Harmony include the albums Oeuvre I (2006) and Oeuvre Zwei (2007). Following Wohlfäht's death in 1981, Harmony returned to London. Harmony died in an explosion at a record store on January 21, 1984.
