Michael Korb, known professionally as Klangkuenstler, was born on June 17, 1990, in Füssen, Bavaria. He is a German record producer and DJ who began his career by moving to Munich at the age of 18 to pursue a career in hotel management. During this time, he discovered electronic music and decided to focus on it professionally. Korb's first significant step was founding Zuckerton Records in 2011, a label dedicated to electronic dance music. His debut album That's Me was released in October 2014, followed by Man on the Mon EP in May of the same year and Glücks EP in March 2015. In 2018, Korb shifted his production focus to techno. He has performed at various festivals including Echelon-Festival in Bad Aibling and Ikarus-Festival in Memmingen. In October 2023, Korb announced the creation of Tote Sonne, a new label with an integrated artist agency in collaboration with DJ Kobosil. His achievements include winning "Best Track" for Deine Angst at the Faze Magazin Jahrespoll in 2022 and placing second as "Bester DJ" in 2024. Notable singles include "Toter Schmetterling" (2024) and "Sonne Geht Auf" (2025), ranked number 82 in German Singles chart.
