Kevin Ross

Kevin Ross (born December 8 1987 in Washington, D.C.) is an American R&B singer‑songwriter who grew up in a musically inclined family and studied contemporary writing at Berklee College of Music. After winning BET’s Wild Out Wednesday during his studies, he moved to Atlanta, where he began writing for artists such as Trey Songz and Jamie Foxx before signing with Motown Records. Ross released the Dialogue in the Grey EP in 2014, followed by the single "Long Song Away" in 2016, which reached Number 1 on Billboard’s Adult R&B chart. His debut album The Awakening (2017) featured collaborations with Chaz French, BJ the Chicago Kid, and Lecrae, and he toured with Maxwell and Ne‑Yo. In 2019 he left Motown to launch Art Society Music Group and released the EP Audacity, Vol. 1 (2020) and the album Audacity Complete (2020). Drive 2 was released in 2021, and LOVEUPTEMPO:MAX followed in 2025, featuring the single "Spin."
