Kate & Ben

Kate & Ben is a German pop duo that released music together in the mid-2000s. The group consists of singers Kate Hall (born May 21, 1983 in Harwich, Essex, England/Denmark) and Ben Ben (born May 15, 1981 as Bernhard Albrecht Matthias Lasse Blümel in Berlin). The project is mainly known as a pop vocal duo that combines catchy melodies with German-language lyrics and is located in the environment of commercial pop productions of the 2000s. Stylistically, the duo moves between pop, pop elements and radio-friendly ballads. Kate Hall began her music career as a solo performer and became known for her chart successes in German-speaking countries. She meets the singer Ben, with whom she records songs together from 2006/2007. The duo released several singles, including "Bedingungslos" (2007), which became popular in Germany, as well as "Ich lieb' dich immer noch so sehr" (2008) and "2 Herzen" (2008). The tracks also appear on the joint album Von beiden Seiten (2008), which contains a selection of the duo's pop songs and is released in spring 2008.
