Daniel Schuhmacher

Daniel Schuhmacher was born on April 19, 1987 in Pfullendorf, Baden-Württemberg. He achieved national fame in 2009 when he won the sixth season of the casting show Deutschland sucht den Superstar (DSDS). His debut single "Anything but Love" reaches number 1 in the German, Austrian and Swiss charts and is awarded gold. The following album, The Album, also reaches number 1 in the German and Austrian charts and goes gold. In September 2010, Daniel Schuhmacher releases his second studio album Nothing to Lose, which reaches number 37 in the German charts. The single "If It's Love" from this album reaches number 30 in the German singles charts. the third studio album Diversity followed in 2013, reaching number 90 in the German charts. With this album, he shows further musical development and more independence. in 2016, Daniel Schuhmacher launches the project Dsfzke together with producer Marcus Loeber and releases the album You Want It! in 2020, he founded his own label Latitude Records and has been releasing music on his own ever since. His most recent releases include the singles "Skin I'm In" (2022) and "Sippin' on the Good Life" (2023). Over the course of his career, Daniel Schuhmacher has received several awards, including the VIVA Comet as "Best Breakthrough Artist" in 2010. He is also socially committed, including as an ambassador for the Herzenssache campaign, which supports disadvantaged children.
