Kaleb Mitchell

Born in Wharton on October 27, 1998, Kaleb Mitchell is an American rapper, singer and producer from New Jersey, who made a name for himself in the second half of the 2010s with a style that blends melodic trap, polished production and introspective lyrics addressing faith, personal struggles and the realities of his generation. Born into a Christian background but refusing to be pigeonholed as "Christian rap", he forged a hybrid musical identity early on, navigating between spirituality, introspection and contemporary aesthetics. He came to prominence with his series of independent projects, such as the mixtapes So Help Me God (2017) and Nineseventhree (2018). Both a producer of his own tracks and a complete artist, he then signed with Capitol CMG but eventually regained his independence, claiming total artistic freedom. Projects such as Mitchell (2018) and Twentyfive (2023) confirm his evolution towards a more vulnerable, sometimes darker music. His third album, Knightfall, was released in 2025.
