K Koke

Kevin Georgiou, born 22 May 1985, is an English rap artist known professionally as K Koke, who emerged from London’s West London scene. After releasing the free mixtape Pure Koke: Volume One in 2010, he attracted attention with the single "Turn Back" (2012‑11‑23) and "Lay Down Your Weapons" (2013‑03‑08), leading to a contract with Roc Nation. He released Pure Koke: Volume Two (2011‑04‑11) and Pure Koke: Volume Three (2012‑10‑01) before a 2011 arrest for attempted murder resulted in a brief legal hiatus; he was acquitted in November 2011. Subsequent albums Pure Koke: Volume Four (2017‑07‑07) and I Ain’t Perfect (2021‑10‑31) followed, featuring collaborations with artists such as Abel Miller and Malik MD7. Throughout his career, K Koke’s tracks accumulated millions of views on platforms like YouTube, and his 2012 Fire in the Booth freestyle on BBC Radio 1Xtra surpassed 25 million views, marking a significant cultural milestone in British rap.
