Born in Hackney on May 4, 1985, Jamie Adenuga, aka Jme, is an English music producer and MC who began making ringtones after he graduated from the University of Greenwich where he studied digital design. He created record label Boy Better Know and performed with his brother Joseph in Medirian Crew. His album Famous? came out in 2008 followed by Blam! (2010) and Integrity> (2015). He also released mixtapes, vinyl albums and compilation History (2011). He has recorded with Swindle, KSI, Tinie Tempah, Tempz and Tempa T and The Sidemen. He featured with Skepta and Ms D on Wiley's "Can You Hear Me? (Ayayaya)", which went to number three on the UK Singles Chart in 2012. His 2019 schedule included an appearance with Eskimo Dance at Printworks London, despite hiatus from social media for eleventh month. In november 2019, he came back to announce the release of a new album fifteen days later, Grime MC, welcomed with positive reviews. Collaborations followed in 2023-2024 with D Double E, Vikkstar and Masked Wolf, Milli Major, and One Acen, before the release of singles "On Top" and "Five Stars."
