Judy Ann Santos

Judy Anne Lumagui Santos (born May 11, 1978 in Manila) is a celebrated Filipino actress, producer, chef, restaurateur, and recording artist. She began her acting career as a child in the late 1980s, gaining national recognition through lead roles in the drama series Mara Clara (1992) and Esperanza (1997). Over the years, she established herself as one of the country’s top dramatic talents, winning critical acclaim for films like Sabel (2004) and box-office hits such as Kasal, Kasali, Kasalo (2006) and its sequel Sakal, Sakali, Saklolo (2007), both of which earned her multiple Best Actress awards. She also produced and starred in the independent film Ploning (2008) and headlined Mindanao (2019), which was selected as the Philippine entry to the Oscars and won her Best Actress at the Cairo International Film Festival. Alongside her acting career, Santos released three studio albums: Judy Ann Santos (1999), Bida Ng Buhay Ko (2001), and Musika Ng Buhay Ko (2007), showcasing her softer vocal side in pop and ballad styles.
