Angie Kristine Allen Salvacion Gorbulev, known professionally as Anji Salvacion, was born on September 24, 2002 in Siargao, Surigao del Norte, and is a Filipino-Russian singer and actress. She began her career competing in local singing contests during her teenage years. Salvacion's breakthrough came when she auditioned for Idol Philippines in 2019. In 2021, she starred in the miniseries Unloving U, where she played Waltz, for which she also sang the soundtrack for. Later that year, Salvacion competed as a celebrity housemate in Pinoy Big Brother: Kumunity Season 10, advancing to the final phase of the competition. During her temporary leave from the show, she released her debut single "Dalampasigan" and her first EP Kasingkasing Dalampasigan on April 29, 2022, which peaked at Number 1 on a streaming chart in the Philippines. Salvacion won the season of Pinoy Big Brother with a landslide victory in May 2022.
