Jr. Jr.

JR JR, originally known as Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr., is an American indie-pop band from Royal Oak, Michigan, founded by Daniel Zott and Joshua Epstein in 2010. The duo began recording in Zott's basement and released their first EP, Horsepower, in July 2010 via Quite Scientific Records. They gained significant attention with subsequent releases, including the EP My Love Is Easy: Remixes Pt. 1 in November 2010 and their first full-length album, It's A Corporate World, in June 2011 via Warner Bros. Records and Quite Scientific Records. Notable singles from this period include "Morning Thought" and "Simple Girl". In 2013, they released the EP Patterns and their second studio album, The Speed of Things. The band changed its name to JR JR in July 2015 to avoid confusion with NASCAR driver Dale Earnhardt Jr.
