Jossie Esteban y La Patrulla 15

Jossie Esteban y La Patrulla 15, a merengue band from Dominican Republic, was formed in May 1979 by childhood friends Jossie Esteban (Esteban Grullón) and Alberto Martínez (Ringo). The group's debut album Vacaciones en el campo was released in 1977. Throughout the 1980s and 1990s, they released numerous albums including Deja ese diablo (1983), O.K... All Right! (1989), and Dos tiempos bajo un mismo tono (1991). The band won several awards, including the Congo de Oro in Colombia and Orchestra of the Year in New York. In 1992, Jossie Esteban also became part of the merengue trio Zona Roja.
