Jordan Pruitt

Jordan Lynne Pruitt was born on May 19, 1991, in Loganville, Georgia, and began writing songs at nine before recording a demo EP at twelve that led to a signing with Hollywood Records. She released her debut single "Outside Looking In" in 2006, which entered the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 at number 77, and followed with "We Are Family" and "Teenager" in early 2006. Her debut studio album No Ordinary Girl was issued on February 6, 2007, reaching number 64 on the Billboard 200, and was promoted through tours as an opening act for the Cheetah Girls and the High School Musical concert tour. In 2008 she released her second album Permission to Fly, adding tracks such as "Jump to the Rhythm" for Disney’s Jump In! soundtrack. Pruitt later signed with Jonas Records and released singles including "The One That Got Away" in 2012 and "Merry Christmas Baby" in 2016. She appeared on the third season of The Voice in 2012, performing "The One That Got Away" for Christina Aguilera’s team, before being eliminated in the battle round. In December 2017, Pruitt announced her retirement from music and shifted focus to co‑owning The Aero Bar in Nashville with her husband Brian Fuente.
